Instructions
Preparing the Corn
Boil 4 cups of water with 1/2 tsp salt.
Add the sweet corn kernels to the boiling water.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat.
Cover and set aside for 10 minutes.
Drain all the water from the sweet corn.
Making Sweet Corn Sundal | Mokkajonna Guggillu
Heat 1 tsp oil.
Add the mustard seeds and wait till they splutter.
Add the udad dal and stir-fry till golden brown.
Add the split red chillies and curry leaves.
Stir-fry for a few seconds.
Turn off the heat.
Add the asafoetida and mix well.
Add the corn, grated coconut and salt.
Mix well.
Offer as naivedyam and enjoy!
