Sundal (Guggillu in Telugu) is an integral part of Navratri celebrations. Having already written about Senagala Guggillu | Kala Chana Sundal, Konda Kadalai Sundal, Pattani Sundal, and Verkadalai Sundal, I am now posting the recipe for Sweet Corn Sundal. Called Mokkajonna Guggillu in Telugu, this is a wonderful variation of the traditional recipes.
I love Sweet Corn Sundal because it has just a touch of sweetness brought on by the boiled corn which balances the spiciness of the chillies perfectly. Also, you do not need to to pre-soak the corn like the other sundal recipes. So this is an instant recipe, and gets done much faster and with less planning than other Sundal recipes. 🙂
