I had written about the Fresh Pesto with Basil and Walnuts a couple of days ago. Here is one way you can use this sauce with a pasta. I used Penne for only one reason; it was the pasta I had on hand. 🙂
What I like best about this recipe is that, if you have the sauce ready, it gets done in 15-20 minutes. If you need to make the Pesto Sauce, the you probably need about 25-30 minutes.

Time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients
- Penne Pasta – 400 gms
- Pesto Sauce – 2/3 Cup
- Salt to Taste
Method
- Cook the Penne as mentioned on the cover.
- Toss the cooked Penne with the Pesto Sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- If required, garnish with grated Parmesan.
- Serve warm.
Wow… Basil and walnut gives devine flavours…
So good! Just load it with some veggies too no one will notice!
