I had written about the Fresh Pesto with Basil and Walnuts a couple of days ago. Here is one way you can use this sauce with a pasta. I used Penne for only one reason; it was the pasta I had on hand. 🙂

What I like best about this recipe is that, if you have the sauce ready, it gets done in 15-20 minutes. If you need to make the Pesto Sauce, the you probably need about 25-30 minutes.

Serves: 4

Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients

  1. Penne Pasta – 400 gms
  2. Pesto Sauce – 2/3 Cup
  3. Salt to Taste

Method

  1. Cook the Penne as mentioned on the cover.
  2. Toss the cooked Penne with the Pesto Sauce.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. If required, garnish with grated Parmesan.
  5. Serve warm.
