- Sesame Seeds – 3 tbsp
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 5 tbsp
- Heat a heavy-bottomed wok or kadai.
- Add the sesame seeds and roast for 5 minutes.
- Set the sesame seeds to cool completely.
- Grind the roasted and cooled sesame seeds with the olive oil to a smooth paste.
- Do not brown the sesame seeds.
- Let the sesame cool completely before grinding.
